8 Months Old Today!

Will's been a little under the weather lately, but he still had enough energy to shuck some corn. However, he didn't get to have any corn this time. He stores it in his cheeks!

I took him to the doctor since he hasn't been sleeping well, had a really bad runny nose and a temp. Turns out it's not an ear infection or a cold, just more teeth!! He's currently working on numbers 5 and 6. What he's lacking in hair, he's making up for in teeth :)

Parade

We went to the Middleton Parade yesterday and had a lot of fun. Will's charm got us some candy and it was a beautiful day. Next time we will skip the loud fire trucks (Will screamed), but other than that, a great time.

Beach Day

Mr. Sensative did not like the cold Lake Michigan water, but he did enjoy the beach.

Our Week in Racine

Will and I went to Racine to help out and visit family. Will really enjoyed going to the beach and playing with Aidan and Jake, the dog. Here are the highlights.

First Dance

We didn't think we would see this until the eigth grade, but Will and Sarah felt the need to assume the eigth grade dance position a little early.

All Tuckered Out

Ever since we stopped swaddling Will, I check on him when I no longer hear him babbling and moving about. I often need to pull him out of the corner of the crib or flip him over to his back in hopes he will sleep longer than if I left him alone. This is what I found yesterday. Who would want to wake up to a pig on your head and a caterpiller on your shoulder? I took care of it.

The Army Crawl

Will has mastered the army crawl and I think the real deal is coming soon. He's starting to pop up to his knees, but then sprawls out again. I think he is enjoying his new ability to move around and for those interested...I used my flip flops to lure him my way.

Olbrich Gardens

I took Will to Olbrich Gardens to walk around and check out the butterfly exhibit. I think he enjoyed it. He watched all the butterflies flutter around and saw the huge coy fish swimming in the creek. At least it was different from a walk in our neighborhood where all you can hope for is a chipmunk or a bunny.

Zoo

It was a beautiful day on Sunday to go to the zoo. I think Will can finally see some of the animals and was able to get a little more out of it this time around.

Terrace

We had a wonderful day visiting with the Torregrossa and Schumann families at the terrace. Noelle is extremely verbal and Gianna is the teensiest runner I've ever seen.
