Pumpkin Carving

Will thoroughly enjoyed watching me carve this pumpkin. He loved to take the top off and throw all the goo and pieces back in. Tons of fun!

Trick or Treating at the Zoo

I'm not sure where to begin. It was a beautiful day for the zoo and today our free zoo offered trick or treating. So.....going there was not an original idea. It was packed! We stood in line to get candy for a good half hour and got 5 pieces of candy and a toothbrush. Luckily, the animals were fun to see and there were tons of photo opportunities. Will's costume was a hit for the zoo (thanks Gigi) and we got to see Bucky Badger, the Lion King and Sarah. Of the three, Will was most excited to see Sarah, who he saw yesterday.

The One Nice Day This Week

It has rained all week! The only day that was nice was Wednesday afternoon, so we took advantage. We played in the leaves, played a little football and went to the park. Please tell me there will be more days like this before the snow comes!

Fire Department

We went to the Fitchburg Fire Department on Saturday which was actually a lot of fun. Will got to meet Sparky the dog and Smokey the bear. He went on the fire truck for a ride around the block, which started out rough, but then was fun. He initially cried on the truck, but came around once the truck started moving. The helium balloon was probably the highlight of his experience. He was obsessed with the balloon for the entire day until it deflated. All in all, a good time!
