Petting Zoo with Ava and Dylan

We are having so much fun with Denise, Ava and Dylan.  We had a blast at the petting zoo yesterday.  The kids especially loved playing with the kittens, feeding the baby goats and the goat milking demonstration.

Avery's Adoption Day!!

We were so happy to go to court today and legally adopt Avery.  It's amazing that a 3 year process (2 years just waiting) can be wrapped up in a 10 minute court hearing.  Avery celebrated by babbling and pooping while Will hid under the table. Luckily, Will became less shy when he could pick out 2 teddy bears, one for for himself and one for Avery.  Today all ours dreams came true, and we will never forget all that went into making our family complete.

Missy Moo and Will starts T-ball

It was a little hard to take pictures of Will at his first T-ball practice, but he seemed to really enjoy it.  He was somewhat aggressive at getting to the ball, so we are optimistic he will take to this sport.  Avery sat and watched his whole practice and was much easier to take pictures of.

Devil's Lake

We tagged along on the Haviland camping trip and had a wonderful time.  No rain AND it wasn't super hot!  A good time was had by all!

7 Months Old Today

Avery is 7 months old and weighing in at 17 lb, 15oz.  She is sitting all by herself and already getting into everything.  Avery is officially a "people person" and does not enjoy time alone.  Avery loves to be entertained and sung to.  We look forward to the end of this month, when her adoption will be finalized.
